While it is messy as hell, I strangely enjoy this composition. (same can be said for some of my other pieces).

it's messy in a sort of Egon Schiele kind of way...it just works as a whole...space is broken up well...I guess if any thing doesn't seem to quite fit...it's the cloud shapes in the lower window...for a moment I was thinking they were a comic device (thought balloon)...still...a very minor distraction

yeah - i love how it so loose, but with enough graphic elements to make it hold together really nicely.....great sense of space and minimalism but still with enough detail to make it reallly interesting :)

thanks!:) Yea, I feel the same way

...my creativity as of late seems to fascinated with the idea of combining detailed subjects with loose environments. ie, Session and Lost In Space...and I guess this one is sort-of in that same vein, just more abstracted.

I guess I have a similar concept in my head, if not in my work, in that I like the idea of fine detail in a focal point, such as an eye or a face, moving out towards something nearer abstraction.

I think they way you are doing it is really successful and makes for very satisfying images :)
